Wedding Movies to Binge Watch

With so many couples obeying the Stay at Home orders during this time of Covid-19, to say there is a lot of binge watching happening is an understatement.

Because we’re all sad with you 🙁 that right now many couples are experiencing heartbreaking disruptions in their weddings, and generally wedding planning itself has become difficult—

We offer our favorite bingeable Wedding Movies from Perfect Wedding Guide!

In no particular order we present our favorites. Some funny, some downright hilarious, musicals, oldies, some (a few) sad—- mostly amusing because right now, do we need some of THAT…………….. or what?

Jeremy (Vince Vaughn) and John (Owen Wilson) are divorce mediators who spend their free time crashing wedding receptions. Always worth a second (or fifth) look!

Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride—— ticks all the boxes for interesting, different, a mind bending fantasy……. and it’s funny too!

Seven Brides for Seven Brothers! Oh man, this beloved movie! It was filmed in 1954 but don’t let that turn you off. We include it because it’s great, super entertaining and all kinds of fun—– but because a LOT of contemporary couples haven’t seen it. Fire it up!

There is not one thing that needs to be said about why Bridesmaids is on the must watch list is there? Nope.

In what might be (and this tells you a lot about your humble blog writer) my favorite wedding movie OF ALL TIME. I could watch it every month— and if the truth is told, everytime on a late night channel scroll, I do. Steve Martin, Diane Keaton, Kimberly Williams-Paisley. Martin Short—– just fabulous. Welcome to the 90’s Mr. Banks!

Ask the 80’s loving couple what wedding movie is their favorite and they just might tell you Princess Bride. It deserves your time on the Binge List for sure!

Four Weddings and a Funeral, filmed in 1994 is a classic for a reason—– and there’s Hugh Grant and Andie McDowell. Check!

My Best Friends Wedding—- is there anyone who hasn’t seen it? (If you are one of those people, put it on your list right this minute!) Favorite clip?

And………………………. you’re welcome. 🙂

We could go on and on but we’ll close with another great oldie, from 1951, Royal Wedding with Fred Astaire and Jane Powell.

May there be binging, may there be laughter, may there be love.

We will get through this together!
